Spice Girls

The Spice Girls "Wannabe" video - because everyone secretly loves the Spice Girls. If you go in to my archives in June look for "Everyone Secretly loves the Spice Girls" and you can find out why I love the Spice Girls so much.

See, the Pussycat Dolls look like drag queens. They will never be as much fun as the Spice Girls. Even I know that!

I admit it...I liked the Spice Girls and still do. They've just got this infectious air about their music. I can remember hearing Who Do You Think You Are on the radio to and from work when I lived in London and I absolutely loved it (still love it to this day and have it on a CD that I play in the car).

Oh and then there is the movie...Yah, it's cheesy just like the music but I love the scene where they are out on the water because it was filmed just off Canary Warf not too far down the street from where I worked. :)

The Spice Girls rock! I still have my Ginger Spice doll, sure she's naked in a tote in the basement somewhere but I love her anyways. I also have the movie, I donated it to the children's ward at the hospital because I thought little kids would like it more but then I felt bad. So, I made my mom hunt down another copy and once again I own the movie.

Okay I finally got it to work. (does anybody else have a problem with the music and video being out of sync?)

Remember when music was fun? Remember when Victoria was PRETTY? Remember when I had washboard abs like MC?

I think I like them better now than I did 10 years ago. First time I saw that video my jaw dropped. That is a hell of a lot of jiggling. It all seems so harmless now...
